Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oregon
If another employee files a false claim about me ( her supervisor) and I have a pending Labor investigation against the employer for a different situation, however they demote me based on her aligations. Can a file a small claim against the co-worker for Slander-punitive damages?

Yes, but a small claim is limited to $7,500, and you cannot ask for punitive damages in a small claim lawsuit. If the demotion is worth more to you than $7,500, you would need to file a regular lawsuit.
