Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oregon
unlawful employment practice
I have received a substantial evidence determination from BOLI and EEOC along with a letter of right to sue. I was fired from my job when I was diagnosed with a chronic illness. Boli calls it unlawful employment practice. Now I have to make a settlement offer and would like to know what I should ask for. Do I need an attorney?

Re: unlawful employment practice
You absolutely, positively need an attorney.
Do not sign ANYTHING, agree to sign anything or even make an appointment in which you might be asked to sign anything... until you've had a chance to review it with a workplace rights lawyer who knows what you're entitled to have and how much.
