Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Oregon

My wife has been blacklisted by a former employer.

2 yrs ago, my wife was charged with harrassment at the City of Beaverton police department by another employee. My wife's supervisor investigated the IA and penalized my wife with a written reprimand. The whole incident was a lie from the employee as that employee was widely known to be a chronic exagerator. The supervisor, Shannon, used this ''inicident'' to force my wife to seek other employment. Wy wife felt that it was only a matter of time that Shannon was to fire her, being an at will state. My wife worked in non police area for 1 year while looking for another police records position, whic she secured at the City of Hillsboro, Oregon, in June, 2001. In February, 2002, a new supervisor was hired at Hillsboro. She, Cindy, was rumored to be chummy with Shannon at Beaverton. My wife had glowing reviews all year. With 10 days to go in my wife's employment probation with Hillsboro her probation was suddently ended and she was released with no reason given. We feel we should be able to sue City of Beaverton and City of Hillsboro for discrimation and/or balcklisting as this is illegal in Oregon. Do we have any hope?

It is not hope you need, but proof. The proper question is "Do you have any proof?" Without that, you have no case, as that is what the law deals with.
