student records
I attent a technical school and have asked to see my records in order to view my financial aid paperwork and was denied access to my file. What recourse do i have

If you are in WA and this is a public school, I'd first kick the request up to the head honcho's office (the dean or president).
If your request is denied, try to obtain help from the public disclosure office in Olympia and/or the Board for Higher Education.
If this is a private school, your path is more difficult, and I'm not familiar with the law.
Be sure to put all your requests into writing so that you have a paper trail.
