Legal Question in Consumer Law in Oregon
False Advertising/Fraud
I ordered a $1,250 product from a company in Oregon. It took em a month to ship me something I didn't order. Even with a BBB complaint filed, they refuse to communicate (answer the phone, return a message, etc.) Since I live in Washington, I'd like to know what action can I take, and if I have to go to Oregon to do so. And if I do have to go to Oregon can I also sue for travel expenses, lodging, food, etc.

Re: False Advertising/Fraud
You can sue them in small claims either here or in Oregon.
You can ask for treble damages under the consumer protection act.
You are entitled to recover your costs of suit. Chances are that will not include living expenses or lost wages. If the company "removes" the case to state district court, get a lawyer.
