Legal Question in Consumer Law in Oregon
I would like to file a small claims against our moving company. In Oregon the law requires that the defendant live in the county or the incident take place in the county I am filing from. We moved from Utah to Oregon. We paid 1/2 in Utah and 1/2 in Oregon. Also the business is an Oregon based business. Does this count and the incident occurring in this county?

I assume that the company delivered the stuff to your new address in your new county in Oregon. That is good enough.
