Legal Question in Consumer Law in Oregon
Refund vs. 'store' credit
I paid in full for an entertainment event and had to cancel (About 24 days before event). The company gave me credit for future events. Do I have a legal right for a full cash refund (I paid by check) instead of credit.

Re: Refund vs. 'store' credit
No, you have no legal right to a refund, unless you have a written contract providing for a cash refund or can prove an oral agreement the the company to give you a cash refund in the case that the event is cancelled.
