Legal Question in Consumer Law in Oregon
repair shop sold my property
con a computer repair shop sell you computer because you couldn't pick it up with in 3-4 mo. knowing you were just waiting to get all the money save they wanted to fix it, with out verbally telling you of their policy, or giving you nothing in writting, and they had no money invested in to it because they would not order the part and install it until you came in and paid in full for the part and the labor? I still owe Dell 1,100.00 the I have to pay for this computer, and when we went into the shop, they said they had already sold it. We were not aware of any time policy, or informed of any such shop policy.

Re: repair shop sold my property
No, the shop cannot do that. They have "converted" your property, which is a nice word for stealing it.
