Legal Question in Consumer Law in Oregon

No title from the dealership after 10 months

I bought a 2005 Suzuki RM250 dirt bike from a dealership in Oregon back in November of 2005. I used my credit card to purchase it. I've called the dealership about once every three weeks and still don't have an answer as to why I don't have it. What legal action can I take? Is the dealership violating any laws by not supplying me a title?

Because you purchased the bike in Oregon, this is an Oregon problem.

If Oregon has an equivalent of the Washington State Department of Licensing, you should contact that agency and ask them the same question. Your alternative backup is the Oregon Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division (or Department).

Your hunch is correct; ten months is way too long to not have your title. Make them explain what the hold up is.
