where can I get information on statute of limitations for collectors.

Specific statute of limitations are listed in the Oregon Revised Code along with the claim they represent. ORS 12.010 states that contracts (generally speaking) have a 6-yr statute of limitations. The law in this area can get rather involved, so I would review the agreement with an attorney first to see if it still valid.
