Legal Question in Criminal Law in Oregon
Inappropiate use if LLC funds
I am in business with a partner that has been using
money from the LLC bank account for his own personal
expenses that have nothing to do with the LLC. We
currently live in two different states, and I have not been
able to get in contact with him over the past 3 months to
discuss this. During that time he has spent more than
$3500 in company funds for his own personal
expenses. Currently the account is over drawn
because of this. The account has both of our names
on it and therefore I cant do anything with out him being
there or approving it.
I am very frustrated with this situation and want to be
removed from the back account and the LLC. Are there
any legal steps I can take to get the money back and or
myself removed from the partnership?
Thanks

Re: Inappropiate use if LLC funds
You need to dissolve your LLC Seek a an attorney to do this properly . It will require notice to all of your creditors and clients and additionally you need to start a lawsuit against your partner for misappropriation of funds
