Under age highschool grad wants to leave home
a friend recently moved to oregon. she has her GED and wants to move from oregon to california where she lived prior for over 16 yrs. can she legally leave home without her parents consent, if so can this happen before she turns 18?

She can apply for emancipation. In order to gain that independence, she has to show that she is able to survive on her own (gainful employment, housing, paying bills, etc.).
