Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon
child not attending school overpayment
I was told my child was attending school fulltime by the DAs office. She was not and the judge said I could go to the DA's office and ask to get a credit for overpayment. DA's office person refused to do this. Person at DAs office has called daughter to tell her to go to college or she looses support payment and has done other questioable things. How do I get the overpayment ajustment. The judge says its not in her juristidition but the DA can credit. Is there anything I can do to stop this person that is being predijust toward me and not doing her job. This person went as far as getting a truckdriving book that says I should make more money than I am and pay higher support during the modification hearing I never got a copy of the book nor did I know she was going to testify about this. I was told that everyone who had items or was testifing had to inform the other parties I never got anything from her. I dont know this woman and Im not sure why she has a grude. Im starting to think my ex and her are buddys. What do I do?

YOUR QUESTION:
Is there anything I can do to stop this person that is being predijust toward me and not doing her job?
ANSWER:
NO.
YOUR QUESTION:
What do I do?
ANSWER:
Your dealing directly with Support Enforcement is like a crime suspect dealing directly with the police and wondering why the police are not being nice to him.
What to do: HIRE A PRIVATE LAWYER. That is the only way your rights will be protected.
