ANSWER:

NO, he cannot do that. (Ask him to show you the law that says he can do that. He won't be able to do that 'cause no such law exists.) Indeed, since you and he are not married, he is in the eyes of the law a "non-entity," meaning that he has no legal rights and no legal responsibilities, at least not until legal paternity has been established by one of the legally prescribed methods for doing so.

And my advice to you: Under no circumstances should you sign any papers the recognizes him as the child's father. If he wants to take you to court, that will be his problem to do. No need for you to voluntarily acknowlede him as the child's father.
