Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon

Child Support Enforcement Letter

I have received a letter from child support enforcement division of the local court. It asks whereabouts of my husband for child support and health care coverage for our child.

At the time of application for State Health insurance for our child(6yrs old), we were separated and did not have a definite plan of getting back together as such mentioned in the application. Fortunately, the situation has changed since then and we will be living together in the near future. My husband does not have a stable income but he ''does'' support us by letting us use our savings. I ''do not wish'' the court to order any sort of collection or law enforcement regarding child support or health insurance. In this case, how can I reply such a letter? Thank you very much,

Re: Child Support Enforcement Letter

Reply to the letter by explaining that you and your husband are now back together with one another and that you do not any longer want or need the services of the goverment in connection with establishment or enforcement of judicial or administrative orders regarding child support and matters related thereto.

Tell them you will get back in touch in the future should the situation change, but for now, they can close the case and terminate any further action.
