Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon

Childsupport modificaton, I need the proper form.

I have received a summons from the courts on a child support modification, I disagree with my ex- husband on a couple of issues,ie Having to pay a portion of his court fees, and lowering childsupport for my 16 yr old daughter because she is employed part time.

This divorce is 14 yrs. old we have 4 children together, 3 of which have reached 21 yrs. of age. I have had sole custody of the children for 10 of the 12 years since the divorce.I have retained and paid off 3 attorneys due to cost. The last time I went to court I defended myself and was not heard, because I did not follow proper procedures due to lack of knowledge in the eyes of the court.

I would like to contest,

1)The $100.00 credit to my ex-husband due to our daughter working part time.

2) Paying a portion of his attorney fees.

What form do I need?

Where can I get one?

What is the proper procedure for contesting this order?

I thank you for any help you can give me.

Child support modificaton, I need the proper form.

If the child support modification proceeding is occurring in an Oregon court,

you should be able to down load the forms you will need from URL:

http://www.ojd.state.or.us/osca/cpsd/courtimprovement/familylaw/flpacket4.htm#B

Properly presenting the issues may involve identifying specific facts that support your position and challenge your former spouse's position. You also need to be familar with the Local Rules of Court for the Oregon county in which the proceeding is occurring. See the following URL:

You should be able to down load the forms you will need from url: http://www.courts.wa.gov/forms/?fa=forms.contribute&formID=8

These are just the forms for use in this type of matter. Properly presenting the issues may involve identifying specific facts that support your position and challenge your former spouse's position. You should also look at the Thurston County Local Rules at url: http://www.co.thurston.wa.us/superior/Superior%20Court%20Local%20Rules.htm
