Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon

my ex & I were co-petitioners in our D.I.Y.divorce in 2006. We were married for 9yrs& 5mos. I agreed to pay maintenance. Does that mean it is voluntary rather than court ordered?

This is akin to voluntarily enlisting in the Army. Once you are in (having voluntarily enlisted), you are stuck for the duration.

In the DIY divorce, you voluntarily agreed to a Divorce Judgment that ordered you to pay spousal support ("maintenace"). Once the judge signs the divorce judgment approving of your voluntary agreement, you are stuck for the duration.
