Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon

court filing

My ex moved to OR a year ago, from UT. She recently filed our UT state custody determination into Oregon's court. Should this concern me?

Re: court filing

Probably not, unless she is planning on seeking to modify provisions of the Utah judgment. But in the event she were to try that, you would have to be served with appropriate legal papers explaining what she is asking the court to do, and you will have opportunity to object.

If and when that happens, you will then give me a call.
