Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon
divorce in another state
My wife several years ago filed for divorce in another state not the one which her nor I lived in, prior during or after our marriage.
Is the divorce legal or do I need to make further inquires at the state and local level?

ANSWER:
Based on the facts described, the divorce is most likely NOT valid, meaning you and spouse are probably still legally married to one another.
