Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon
Least expensive way to divorce
What documents do I need to file for a Divorce in the state of Oregon. The Childrens father lives in texas and only see's them about 2 times a year. He was laid off and is not looking for work. He will not share any unemployement with the children. I don't believe he is telling the truth about how much is in his 20 yr 401k. He say only 7 thousand dollars. I need a divorce, was an abusive person prior to my leaving. He will not contest he says, he just doesn't want to do any of the work or pay for it. What are my options, how can I get him to help, What can I do on such a limited budget? I just want this to be over as soon as possible. Prior to him being laid off he was giving us 2000.00 a month. I don't even make that much. What can I do? thank you so much. Rosanna
