QUESTION;

want him to take the kids, can he?

ANSWER:

Generally, in the absence of a provision in a court order or judgment that limits or restricts what the other parent does with the kids during the other parent's parenting time, the other parent can take the child wherever the other parent wants to take them.

If you are unhappy with this situation, you would need to go back to court and get a supplemental judgment that either prohibits or otherwise limits what the other parent can do with the kids.
