Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon

insurance for children

I have a daughter that is 18 and still in high school. She does not live with her mother or myself. Do I have to have health insurance on her?

Re: insurance for children

If she qualifies as a "child attending school" under ORS 107.108 and you are under a court order to continue paying support to her because she so qualifies, then YES, you would also have to maintain health insurance for her, provided such insurance coverage for her is available to you through your place of employment.
