we have joint custody me and my ex and we cant decide on a school, he wants her in his district, and I want her in my district, we live 5 from each other, can i enroll her into school

Putting the child in a school that father disagrees with would violate the joint custody agreement. I suggest that you try going to mediation. Check with the court where the custody order originated to see if you can take advantage of free mediation. Otherwise, you can find mediators who will help you for a fee. If you can't agree with or without mediation, then you should see a lawyer.
