Joint Custody and Grandparents

I have had custody of my grandson for 2 years. We are in the transition to have him back with Mom but we are thinking of wanting joint custody with her for the safety of our grandson. Can we do that with her?

QUESTION:

ANSWER:

No. Cannot be done.

Oregon law makes no provision allowing a court to render an order the establshes "joint custody" for a child between the child's parents and the child's grandparents.
