jointly titled car

My boyfriend bought a car for me two years ago.The title arrived and it had both our names on it. I let iit be. I've driven it, insured it, serviced it. Have only keys, title and car. Now we have broken up. He wants it back. What are my options?

Keep the car. Tell him you received it as a gift. The fact ths his name (along with yours) appears on the title is not determinative as to the extent of each party's equitable ownership interest in the vehicle. So far as you are concerned, as between you and exboyfriend, the car he gave to you as a gift is 100% yours. And if he is not happy about that, he needs to put the matter in front of a judge and let a judge decide.
