Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon
Keeping my daughter
My ex who has been in and out of jail for the three years of my daughters life has decided that he wants her either all the time or half time. I only want him to have supervised visits once a month because of his drug history. He has never paid child support and either lives with his mom or with his girlfriend illegally. I have never been in trouble with the law, and I have always taken great care of my little girl. Do I stand a chance at winning the case? Thank you

Re: Keeping my daughter
Custody and parenting time cases are very fact dependent. A court must see compelling evidence of a danger to a child to order supervised visitation. You should contact an attorney to understand your rights and the type of evidence that will be necessary to show to the court. Feel free to contact me if you have more questions.
