How long do you have to wait before filing for an abandonment divorce in the state of Oregon?

ANSWER:

Unde Oregon law, to file for divorce, at least one party must be a resident of or be domiciled in this state at the time the suit is commenced and continuously for a period of six months prior thereto.

The six-month residency requirement applies whether or not there has been abandonment.
