am i married

please help, i married a man and after we were married for three weeks he was divorced from other lady. he saids that we are legal but if he was married to other women at the time we were married are we legal?

No. Under ORS 106.020(1) a marriage is absolutely void when either party had a living spouse at the time of the marriage. Further, it is a class C felony under ORS 163.515 to knowingly marry another person at a time when either is lawfully married. Procedurally you file a petition to annul the marriage to have it declared void from the begining. At this time you are not leggaly married under the laws of the State of Oregon.
