In Oregon if you are separated can can you remove them from your health plan before a devorse starts

Yes, you can. But you are really stupid if you do it. Even though separated, you are still married. If you remove spouse and/or children from the health plan, they will not be covered. If something then goes wrong and a major medical problem occurs, you will be fully financially liable, without any health insurance coverage to pay the bills. Dumb, dumb, dumb! And when you finally get the divorce, the judge will order you to reinstate the insurance coverage for spouse and kids.
