Is there a way to get around paying child support payments?

YES...... First, don't have any children. If you never have children, you will never have to pay child support. Second, die. Once dead, you will no longer have to pay child support.

Bur if you have children, and you are alive, YOU (rather than the taxpayers) have an obligation to pay the cost of raising your children. After all, if YOU don't do it, who is supposed to do it your place??
