Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon
pendente lite order
My exboyfriend and i have a 3 year old daughter. We have not been together for close to a year. have never lived together. Our daughter has always lived w/her mother and sisters. Her legal residence is with me.
....so Child welfare decided he could not see our daughter until after a child abuse asessment was done to determine possible sexual abuse. I hired a lawyer for this court day but did not retain him or make a legal contract
...A month before the asessment was done and being told she may not open up right away i submitted and was granted a status quo.
The father lawyer says the status quo is in contradiction to the pendente lite order. True? Can the status quo be revoked? won't her legal residence make him return her to her home anyway?
The child asess/ and child services stated there was reasonable doubt of the abuse since our daughter was to frightend at the time and suggested play therapy so she could open up to a counselor and suggested supervised visitation for the father.Therapist suggests in general bonding w/therapist before s/visit. is preferred. I want to wait until bonding before s/visit. Father taking me to court for show of cause.
can a person be granted stat/quo before telling other party?

Re: pendente lite order
This is a complicated issue and would take a review of the case file to answer appropriately. I suggest that you contact an attorney. It is important that you have representation at your hearing due to the seriousness of this situation.
