real father/dna

i am 39 years old. My mom was married when i was concieved, but they were getting a divorce. My real dad is not on my birth certificate. I want my real father on it, how can i do it

Best and easiest way is to have your real dad undertake an adoption proceeding to adopt you. (I realize this may seem odd, given that he is your biological father, but that is just the way the law works in this situations.) The only consents that are need for an "adult" adoption are just you and the adopting parent. Mother is not even involved.

Once the adoption is complete, a court-certified copy of the Judgment of Adoption is sent to Vital Records, which then removes existing "father's" name from the birth certificate and replaces it with the name of the adopting parent.
