have just been served with a restraining order

Should I get a lawyer for this matter. It is a false report from a woman I lived with for 4 yrs. I train as a full contact fighter. I have never had any problems in the past as she has had many.

You should absolutely get a lawyer, or, at a minimum talk with a lawyer so that you understand your rights and what it would mean to have a restraining order against you. It is also important that you do so in a prompt manner, if you want to fight the restraining order. The restraining order will be in place for a year and will subject you to mandatory arrest for any violation.
