Sibling visiting rights
My half sister is 16 and I am 22 we have the same dad unfurtonaly she lives with her mother who dose not allow her to visit me or my father only when its at her convince I would like to know if there is and paper work I can file with the courts to be able to see and visit with my sister on a regular basis do I have any rights at all please help!

ANSWER:
She's a minor in her mother's legal custody. You are an adult. The minor child's mother (who has legal custody) has the right to determine what adults (other than the minor child's father) come into her life.
So the answer to your question is: NO, there is no paper work you can file with the court to be able to see and visit with your sister on a regular basis; and, no, you do not have any rights at all. When younger sister attains age 18, and is then legally an adult, you and she will then be free to make whatever arrangements you want with one another, without parental involvement or consent.
