Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon

sperm donor and custody

An acquaintance of a friend (someone I don't know) has agreed to donate sperm for me to conceive a child. I will probably never meet this person. Is there any chance, if he finds out who I am later in life, he can sue for custody of the child?

ORS 109.239 provides that if the donor is not your husband the donor has no right, obligation or interest with respect to a child born as a result of artifical inemination. Likewise the child has no rights withrespect to the donor.
