step-parent legal guardianship

As the wife of a custodial father, am i considered a ''legal guardian'' of our two children? And if so, is it in all contexts, or would my rights be limited?

QUESTION:

As the wife of a custodial father, am i considered a ''legal guardian'' of our two children?

ANSWER:

No. You are not a legal guardian of somebody else's children unless you have been so appointed by court order.
