Legal Question in Family Law in Oregon

My unmarried daughter has a son, and wishes to leave the home of the boy's father, to live independently of him. Is she within her rights to leave and take the boy with her? What rights does the father have regarding the son?

YES. Until and unless there is a court order that says otherwise, the mother has full legal and physical custody and can change her residence (and take her child with her) anytime she pleases.
