Wife moved joint funds into her private acct

My wife got very upset over me checking statement on a joint credit card account that she uses, and decided to take half of our saving fund which were in our joint acct. into her private account. What should or can I do.

Re: Wife moved joint funds into her private acct

A "joint account" is simple a single account that has two owners. Each owner owns the entire account (not just half of the account). Think of it as if it was a pie, and the pie has two owners. It's not like you own half the pie, with other joint owner owning the other half. Rather, you wimply have a whole pie that happens to have two owners. And each owner owns the whole pie, and has the right to eat the whole thing without any need for consent from the co-owner.

So, in essence, there is nothing that you can do, at least by way of any legal action. Best course of conduct it to try and work things out directly with your wife.
