Legal Question in Medical Leave in Oregon

FMLA in Oregon

Does this law apply to employers of less than 50 employees? My husband is being told he will not be allowed time off to take care of me for upcoming surgery. If not under FMLA is there some other law that applies.

There may be some state law, but the federal law does not apply to employers of less than 50.
