Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oregon

I was allowing a family vehicle to borrow an older vehicle of mine. I recently traded that vehicle and a newer vehicle of mine on a brand new vehicle. I let the same family member borrow the brand new vehicle as it's value is much less that that of my daily driver. The brand new vehicle is financed and no agreement was ever made to transfer the title or debt of the vehicle. When I take that new vehicle back. Can they try to sue me and say that the Vehicle was a gift

They can try to sue you, yes. Anyone can try to sue you for anything.

They will lose, however. And because the claim is baseless, they will owe you whatever reasonable amount you pay for an attorney to represent you.
