Not attending a court hearing
I recieved a call from an attny asking me to testify in court, I have not recieved a summons to do so , do I have to show up? I told her I would, But really dont want to get involved, I'm not a big player in the trial , its in 3 days.

Although you did not receive a subpoena, you did agree to appear and testify. If you are going to consider backing out, you need to tell the attorney who called you. The likely result is that she will issue a subpoena that will require you to appear, probably with less sympathy regarding scheduling of your testimony.
If you are a witness, not wanting to get involved is really not a choice. You have information valuable for the trial and need to appear and testify.

If you told the attorney you would attend, then you should definitely attend. If you do not, the attorney will issue a subpoena, and the judge may treat you will far less kindness than if you showed up in the first place.
