Is it appropriate for court clerks of District Court, xxxxxxxx County,OR to advise trier of law on issues, in fact direct outcome of trial?

District Court Clerks

No it is not appropriate, and it probably does not happen. A district court clerk is not an attorney. The clerk can advise the court about something within his or her area of responsibility, such as filing status, etc.
