Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oregon

one evening a friend came up for a drink. I had a lot to drink and dont really remember the ins and outs of the evening as it was probably uneventful. He was drinking as well but had taken some hash that was left over from a party the previous night. (I dont do drugs) 3 days later the mother and her huge boyfriend said I attempted to rape him (i am male) me being 41 and he 17. I only worked with him for about 2 weeks before this but thought he was a a nice guy. He never showed up to work after that night and with his mothers boyfriend coming to my work and threatening me with everything from calling the police to causing a scene at work, I am beginning to wonder myself. I aint gay or a rapist I know that (no matter how much I drink). Thing is, I dont know when he left and cant remember. So the mother and boyfriend came into work and said they wanted compensation for this and that he wasn't sure if he couldn't keep his bigger friends away from me - that they should contact the police - and maybe cause a scene in the place where I work. While all this was happening he started to count down from 10, to when he was going to action these things I guess. Living in the time we do I gave in and promised to meet him at lunchtime anmd pay hime some money from my accout. I dont know how I got here. If it were my child I would have called the police straight away. Twice in the encouter with them she corrected her boyfriend saying the money was for her son ands not them. I really need help here!!!

What you are describing is criminal extortion. You should call the police.
