Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Oregon

How to subpeona witnesses for small claims court.

What process do I need to follow to subpeona witnesses for my small claims case? I have already initiated the paperwork for the case and have requested the subpeona forms from the court. However, do I need to have the witnesses served, can I serve them myself, have someone else serve them, or send the subpeona certified mail? Also, I know they are supposed to be paid, do I pay them or does the court issue payment? Anything else I should know?

Thank you so much.

Don't use mail. Serve yourself or,preferably, have served with witness fees and milage. You must pay fees. Ask your small claims clerk how much.
