If you have a conditional green card you must remove conditions. Your question is slightly confusing, so not able to advise you properly; but either way if your card expired in 2009, it needs to be renewed.

Upon your 2-year anniversary, the conditions of your greencard are supposed to be removed using form I-751. For a free consultation, please call my office at 1-800-408-5818.

If you were married for less than two years when you received your green card, you would have been issued a conditional resident card rather than a permanent green card. If this is the case, you must remove the conditions on your green card by filing an I-751 during the 90 days prior to the expiration of your conditional resident card. Since that period passed a long time ago, you should file the I-751 as soon as possible and speak to an immigration attorney before doing so.

If you were issued a 10-year permanent resident card, you must renew it by filing Form I-90. The form will require supporting documentation as well as filing fees.

Please contact me to discuss these matters further.
