Legal Question in Immigration Law in Oregon
what does "swear by perjure or law" mean?
my elderly aunt has been asked for a reference letter for her niece.
over the phone, aunt understood that the letter should include that phrase.
i am not sure if she understood that correctly
the niece has no birth certificate or other official citizenship documents and is wanting to get these
thank you

It means that she is telling the truth and not perjuring herself. Perjury means the willful giving of false testimony under oath or affirmation. Please feel free to contact me at 415-273-9123 or [email protected] to discuss this matter further.
