Re: Final pay after giving two weeks notice

If you gave more than 48 hours notice, under Oregon law your employer was required to pay you at the time your employment ended. If employer did not do so, you are entitled to a penalty equal to the continuation of your daily wages until the final pay is delivered to you, to a maximum of 30 days. In such a case, defendant pays the attorneys fees, also. Consult an attorney.

The above does not constitute legal opinion and is offered for the

purposes of discussion only. The law differs in every jurisdiction, and

you should not rely on any opinion except that of an attorney you have

retained, who has a professional duty to advise you after being fully

informed of all the pertinent facts and who is familiar with the

applicable law.
