Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Oregon
The new owners of my apartment building are trying to make all the tenants sign agreements about the behaviors that can take place on the property. Is it legal to make someone recycle? I had already lived here for almost two years when they bought the place.

If you have a lease for a specific term, such as a year, then you cannot be compelled to agree to new conditions. Of course, the landlord can refuse to renew your lease at the end of the year. If you are renting month-to-month, the landlord can decide to stop renting to you upon probably 30-days notice, if you decline to recycle.
