machanic libility on his work

I do welding for friends and neighbors in my spare time at my shop behind my house..

How do i protect myself in case he is in a wreck and someone is hurt by my workmanship, how do I cover myself from this

Comprehensive Public Liability Insurance (CPL). It will be expensive.
