Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in Oregon

Can our attorney be held responsible for unethical actions by his co-councel? Our first attorney ended up being a witness in our case so we had to hire a new attorney to represent us during trial. The new attorney decided to keep the old attorney/witness as a co-councel during the time leading up to our trial. During that time both attorneys met with a third party (unknown to us at the time) and shared information from that meeting with the opposing party, against our best interest and without our knowledge or permission. This had a detrimental effect on our case. Do we have any kind of claim against our attorney (s)
